We opened in 2006 with the mission of bringing truly exceptional coffee and espresso to Midcoast Maine, in a traditional but modern coffeehouse setting. From Day 1, our daily labor of love has been supporting local businesses and farms, making earth-friendly choices, and above all, promoting friendship, community, and human connection. In 2021, Zoot moved to our permanent location in the heart of Camden, just a block from the original storefront.
Here at 5 Elm Street, we serve up the same great coffee and company as always, but now, if you can't be with us in person, you can have your favorite beans delivered right to your door! We source 100% of our green coffee from sustainable farms, and roast small batches in our all-electric, zero emissions Bellwether roaster.
